Prosperity Dielectrics Co., Ltd.’s New Plant in Tainan, Taiwan, Holds Grand Topping-Out Ceremony; Mass Production Scheduled for Q3 2027
【Over 30 years of dedication and innovation✨ Prosperity Dielectrics Co., Ltd. Tainan Liujia New Plant holds a grand topping-out ceremony✨ Embracing the new wave of AI and automotive industries, achieving a dual leap in production capacity and technological capability!】
Dielectric ceramic powder is the core raw material of multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), and its material properties directly determine the component’s voltage resistance and capacitance density. As part of the PSA Group, Prosperity Dielectrics has been deeply engaged in ceramic powder R&D for over 30 years and is the only vertically integrated supplier in Taiwan with capabilities spanning upstream powder materials, midstream manufacturing equipment, and downstream R&D and production of MLCCs and resistors. We are not only able to achieve self-sufficiency in core ceramic powders, but also provide customized development based on customer needs, enabling precise control of cost and lead time.
On May 15, Prosperity Dielectrics successfully held the topping-out ceremony for its new ceramic powder plant in Liujia, Tainan, with a total investment of NT$1.16 billion. The modern facility, featuring smart manufacturing and ESG-oriented low-carbon design, is scheduled to be completed and commence mass production in the third quarter of 2027. With strong expectations for sustained AI-driven demand, the company will accelerate capacity expansion over the next 2–3 years.
The completion of the Liujia new plant marks a new milestone in our operations.
📈 Capacity Upgrade
After the new plant begins operation, total ceramic powder capacity is expected to increase by 50%. At the same time, ongoing debottlenecking of existing production lines is expected to drive double-digit growth in output value.
🔬 Advanced AI Applications
The new facility will fully support high-end powder demand for AI applications and focus on developing next-generation “nano-scale ceramic powders,” meeting the high voltage resistance and high capacitance density requirements driven by AI industry growth.
🚗 Strengthening High-Value Transformation Strategy
The company continues to invest in high-margin markets, maintaining strong momentum from 2025 levels—industrial control applications at 47% and automotive electronics at 15%—providing a strong material foundation for high-end markets.
🌱 Smart Manufacturing & ESG
The plant introduces highly automated production lines, a next-generation automated warehouse system, and multiple energy-saving and low-carbon emission systems, ensuring efficient and precise deliveries while fulfilling sustainability commitments.
As a member of the PSA Group, the addition of the Liujia new plant will further strengthen group synergy, enabling us to capture opportunities from rapid AI-driven transformation in real time, and enhancing PSA’s global competitiveness in upstream materials, advanced MLCC applications, and communication components.
Driven by key materials and components, we power the future of technology. 🚀
